Verde Villas

Verde Villas is a collection of four-bedroom garden villas by Ajmal Makan on Al Thuraya Island, part of Sharjah Waterfront City. Positioned on the garden side of the island, in the second row behind the beachfront homes, the villas sit among landscaped green spaces and calm lakes, with the island beach within easy reach. Contemporary architecture works with the natural setting, in spacious layouts on private plots.

Residents have access to the shared facilities of Al Thuraya Island. Waterfront leisure centres on an exclusive beach with a private beach lounge and water activities, alongside a marina with a floating platform and berthing facilities. For wellness: a gym, a spa and an infinity pool, with parks, gardens and cycling tracks running through the community. Families have kids' playgrounds, BBQ areas and pet-friendly facilities, and everyday needs are served by a retail area, restaurants, a multifunctional hall and a business centre.

Interiors across the island are designed by XBD Collective, the studio that also refined the masterplan. The earthy palette combines travertine, sandy beige and soft greys, accented with blue and turquoise tones that echo the surrounding water. Living areas open onto the garden through full-height glazing, and kitchens are fitted with stone-effect worktops alongside a separate dining space. Marble is used on countertops, feature walls and bathrooms, and eco-conscious choices include antimicrobial interior paints and energy-efficient lighting.

Sharjah Waterfront City is a large master-planned destination in Al Hamriyah, on the northern coast of Sharjah, made up of a cluster of islands. Al Hamriyah sits between Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, with road links to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road connecting the area with Sharjah city, Ajman and Dubai. Hamriyah Free Zone, a key industrial and logistics hub, lies close by.
